📍 Location: North Carolina Market
🏢 Reports to: Medical Director – North Carolina (Direct), Market President – North Carolina (Indirect)
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | ~50% Clinical Care / ~50% Administrative

Are you a leader in medical exercise with a passion for clinical innovation and a heart for patient transformation? CoreLife is looking for a Director of Fitness to lead our Fitness services Pillar in North Carolina market.

This is not just a job — it's a leadership role at the forefront of integrated care. You’ll be responsible for elevating care quality, guiding a team of skilled fitness specialists, and ensuring consistency across our clinics while adapting to an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and support fitness specialists across the North Carolina market

  • Split your time between direct clinical care and strategic leadership/operations

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive patient outcomes and business growth

  • Monitor team performance, KPIs, and quality of care across the region

  • Oversee and refine fitness service offerings to align with best practices and CoreLife standards

  • Conduct audits, support clinics on-site, and ensure team training and compliance

  • Drive innovation by seeking partnerships, integrating fitness programs, and contributing to research and development of care standards


What We’re Looking For:

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field (Required)

  • ACSM-EP or ASEP-EPC Certification (Required)

  • Current CPR/AED Certification (Required)

Experience & Skills

  • Strong background in clinical exercise and/or medical fitness programming

  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing a team

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication

  • Tech-savvy with comfort in standard office and fitness equipment/software

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a changing healthcare environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Clinic-based role with travel between offices

  • Use of standard office and fitness equipment

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally

  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching required
