Quality Control Specialist
We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure CoreLife standards, policies, procedures, and manner with which care is delivered is consistent and efficient across all clinics regardless of market or partnership. In this role, reporting directly to the COO, you'll be responsible for ensuring the patient's experience when receiving care with CoreLife is the same in all clinics, regardless of differences in backend processes. You'll monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of patient care through data analysis, policy development, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Additionally, you'll ensure services meet established standards of quality and compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Quality Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee Conduct regular audits and assessments of practices and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Analyze clinical data and patient outcomes to identify trends, areas for improvement, and best practices.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in the development, revision, and implementation of policies and protocols. Ensure that all staff are trained on new standards and policies.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze quality metrics, patient satisfaction surveys, and incident reports to assess performance. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on quality control findings and recommendations for leadership and staff.
- Collaboration and Training: Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to promote a culture of quality improvement. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices and process improvements.
- Patient Safety: Monitor safety incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analyses to identify and mitigate risks. Promote patient safety initiatives and encourage reporting of safety concerns.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, audits, and compliance findings. Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
What Qualifications You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CPHQ, CQI) is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare quality control, patient safety, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
