Join our Executive team as the CCO in Linthicum, MD, and provide strategic oversight and leadership for our clinicians, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care to our patients.
What You’ll Do
- Clinical Leadership: Collaborate in a dyad model with the COO to oversee market medical directors. Lead the development and implementation of obesity treatment programs and protocols. Ensure evidence-based care through interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals.
- Strategic Oversight: Advise the executive team on clinical operations aligned with CoreLife’s mission and values. Develop and update clinical protocols and standards of care for obesity treatment. Drive productivity and profitability at clinics while maintaining high clinical performance standards.
- Business Development: Partner with the Chief Business Officer to create care pathways and enhance clinical offerings. Identify strategic partnerships to expand access to innovative treatments and clinical programs.
- Program Oversight: Facilitate coordination across medical, nutrition, fitness, and behavioral pillars to ensure a cohesive multidisciplinary approach. Lead clinical meetings and collaborate with regional operations for effective staffing and workflow.
- Additional Functions: Occasionally see patients, establishing care plans and prescribing treatments within the CoreLife model.
Who You Are
- Board Certified in Obesity Medicine: Essential for specialized expertise in obesity treatment.
- Current Medical License: Required to practice medicine in the relevant state.
- DEA and Controlled Substance License: Necessary for prescribing medications.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in a Primary Care (or other Relevant) Specialty: Board certification preferred or certification required within one year of employment.
- Experience in Community Health Settings: Valued for understanding diverse patient needs.
- Effective Communicator: Convey information clearly, adapt to different audiences, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and maintain professionalism while fostering engagement and trust.
