ASSISTANT MANAGER

Position Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to provide high-level customer service and support our operations. In this role, you will serve as the acting manager in the Office Manager's absence and play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience. 

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Conduct new patient consultations.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes.
  • Assist in managing clinic operations, including daily reports and audits.
  • Collect payments and manage patient account balances; handle medical insurance inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments while ensuring all paperwork and procedures are accurately completed.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and stocked reception area.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and appearance of the office.
  • Collaborate with the Clinic Manager on schedule management and adjustments.
  • Assist in planning and leading Front Desk Coordinator state meetings.
  • Help develop, coordinate, and enforce office systems, policies, and productivity standards.
  • Support Key Performance Indicators related to employee culture, clinical outcomes, patient management, productivity, and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical insurance.
  • A passion for health and helping others, along with a positive attitude.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms with patients, the public, and medical staff.
